Petra of the Waters is a short film written, directed, produced, shot, edited, and sound designed by André Figueroa Garza. Filmed entirely on a GoPro HERO13 using natural light and a one-person crew, the film marks Figueroa's return to filmmaking at the age of twenty five after a seven year hiatus that followed a life threatening illness at the age of eighteen. It marks a new beginning in his filmography.
